Geoff Catlow was born in Colne, Lancashire, in 1948. Geoff Catlow started his artistic training at the Burnley College of Art & Design in 1964-66, then studied at the Portsmouth College of Art & Design in 1966-69 (Diploma in Art & Design) and at the Chelsea School of Art in 1969-70 (Post-Graduate Diploma in Art & Design).
