An antique Regency tortoiseshell tea caddy with beautiful serpentine front with inlaid brass flower decoration. Standing on four turned feet with a silver initial plate and escutcheon (probably a replacement). The interior features two turned ivory-handled tortoiseshell lids. Each compartment contains large traces of its original lining used to help keep the tea leaves fresh.
