A late 19th century carved wooden shoe with good detail. The shoe is inscribed with the name DAVOS and it may be that this could be a souvenir from the town in Switzerland. Many of these types of shoe were used to store tobacco, but I can find no evidence that this has ever had a stopper fitted and therefore believe this just to be a decorative item.
